I'll have to disagree here. If it's in the sub frequencies down low, 4 inches of absorption won't do much for boomy bass. I would think you would need some testing and equalization if you cannot move the sub and/or your position. More than likely you have a huge peak, especially with the multiple 13.3 and 26 foot room dimension.
